Scottish Friendly

Scottish Friendly is a leading UK mutual life and investments organisation. It provides investors and their families with a wide range of investment and protection solutions and provides life and investment products and services to other financial organisations.

In recent years Scottish Friendly has significantly restructured its business. The Group has flourished through a three-part growth strategy of organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, and business process outsourcing.

The Challenge

Communications around Child Trust Funds is required annually with a 4 week turn-around time from data collation and processing through to production and mailing. Paperless customers also need to have online statements emailed to them with PDFs loaded onto the Scottish Friendly’s system. Additional pay-in slips are needed for customers to give to friends and family to top up the child’s account.

The Project

  • Annual production of 100k A3 full colour letters/statements with additional pay-in slip inserts
  • Collation and data matching of client data, transactional data and valuation data
  • Data cleaning to ensure correct information is delivered to the customer
  • Production of PDF letters/statements for paperless customers

Solution Summary

Forth have been working with Scottish Friendly since 2013 and entrusted to provide end to end communication solutions for 8+ years. Each year we have successfully completed the project on target.

We will also be engaging with Scottish Friendly on a re-design project as customer transactions grow. Formatting will need to be changed to produce different sized paper outputs for aesthetical reasons. Forth is able to assist in every aspect of a communication strategy for clients to produce complete solutions.
