Thankfully at Forth, we follow a coherent set of stages to ensure each mailing project runs smoothly from start to finish. Take a look for yourself:

The Process:

1. LETS’ GET STARTED

  • Account Manager receives client brief
  • Job schedule set up to suit client timescales
  • Production provides estimate
  • Estimate and schedule are agreed

 

2. THE BRIEF & SET-UP

DATA BRIEF

  • Data manager creates brief and sends to client for approval

LETTER SET UP

  • Final letter text is sent to the Account Manager before sending to the studio for setting and sends back to the client for approval

OUTER/INSERTS/ARTWORK

  • Received from the client in print ready form or zipped artwork
  • Sent to printer for proofing
  • PDF proof sent to client for approval
  • Print delivered to mailing house in line with schedule

 

3. DATA PROCESSING

  • Data is cleaned and sorted per clients instructions
  • PDF proofs are sent to the clients for comment/approval (checking data, text and layout)

 

4. AND FINALLY

  • Proofing files are created
  • hard copy sent to client for approval to check for layout, colours and inserts if applicable
  • Final files go to print
  • Printed, enclosed, fulfilled and mailed
  • Job complete!
