As we start another week of living with the Coronavirus pandemic I wanted to reassure you that whilst these are uncertain times with significant upheaval to navigate we are continuing to operate as normal.
Based on UK Government guidance, given that we manage many mandatory and regulated customer communications in addition to providing print and mail services to the NHS, we continue to serve as a UK critical supplier through the COVID-19 events.
My team and I take the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues to be of paramount importance and are taking the guidance issued by the UK Government very seriously. I am extremely grateful to our colleagues who are keeping our production operations running, with care, diligence and within our SLAs.
Over the past two weeks, we have been contacted by many of our clients to ask how Forth can help with the change to home based working and I wanted to outline what we are seeing.
- We have been able to assist clients with our solutions to cover not only an unexpected need to communicate with customers as a result of the current crisis but support in continuing any regulatory communications during remote working, or as an additional back up supplier.
- We have rapidly set up data and template driven projects for key customer correspondence such as statements, bills and invoices or rate changes as well as urgent communication in direct response to the current crisis.
- With the majority of the population at home and a considerable amount of disinformation being circulated online, specifically related to the coronavirus pandemic, messages in print at this time particularly are much more likely to be well received (and even acted on) by customers.
- Hybrid mail solutions are also available to facilitate the creation of letters that would normally be printed by clients in house, allowing them to be printed, produced and mailed securely, quickly and easily during remote working.
